Jul 08 - Denbighshire Cyberskills closes doors to business

Denbighshire Cyberskills closed its doors for business at the end of June 2008. If you benefitted from Denbighshire Cyberskills' help in the past and you want to keep your IT momentum going forward, ComStation.co.uk is offering discounted monthly subscription services to help you continue developing your online presence.

In the 1990's "dot com" businesses faced huge IT costs to support their online processes. Ten years later online trading is more necessary than ever, but unlike the the 1990's costs are vastly lower because the tools businesses need to launch online services are available inexpensively, sometimes even for free.

Like Denbighshire Cyberskills, ComStation.co.uk helps small businesses in Denbighshire find open source web tools to mitigate the cost of eCommerce. We provide information only web sites, brochure-ware web sites, and full eCommerce web sites to help businesses sell goods and services. ComStation.co.uk provides ongoing training and support to help businesses run their office systems and online services as a one stop service. For more information about how we can help you, please contact us.

Oct 07 - Customer Service Portal

ComStation.co.uk customer service portal is now fully operational. Accessible directly from ComStation.co.uk's home page, our new service provides online tools for support and for invoicing/electronic settlement.

The support system provides a real time response service and transaction history. Customers can log requests for support at the portal, and future installation, maintenance, and project time will be posted here to improve our transparency of service to this mutually accessible resource.

ComStation.co.uk has operated conventional and electronic invoicing systems in tandem over the last 90 days, and on the basis of a postive response to our electronic settlement system, we are now moving our system entirely to our portal based service. This means invoices will be sent to you by email in future, and although we encourage users to settle via PayPal, we are also glad to continue to accept cheques.

Our new online service is an important development, and augments the recent launch of our web server control panel. Already available to our high end users, CPanel provides extended support for web server backup, email server management utilities including autoresponders, real time video tutorials, and complete toolsets for every level of user. Other recent launches include WebMail 2.0, an optionally available WebMail environment built with a graphically appealing interface to suit the needs of users who prefer WebMail to conventional desktop based email clients.

Looking ahead, ComStation.co.uk will shortly launch its "hosted" Exchange Server, an innovative Microsoft Exchange Server/Outlook solution that provides corporate class email and calendar functions without the cost of in-house server hardware and Microsoft licensing. Simply tell us how many users you need, and we take care of the rest.

Improvements don't stop there. When you log out of this site, you will be pointed to our development version of our web site. If you have any thoughts we would be glad to hear from you.
